19-21 in rhe SEC is a great coach?

You have to look at where Ole Miss was when he arrived. They were 1-15 in the SEC the prior two years. They were 2-10 the year before he got there. They went from 2-10 to 7-5. Three of their five SEC losses in year one were to #1 Alabama, #7 Georgia and #8 LSU. LSU beat them 52-3 in 2011. In 2012 in Freeze's first game vs LSU it was 32-29. Miss State beat them 32-3 in 2011, Ole Miss beat them in year one with Freeze while Mullen had MSU in the top 25.

By year 3 Freeze beat #3 Alabama, #14 Texas A&M in College Station, and #4 Miss State, Mullen's best team in Starkville, and won 9 games.

There's always context when looking at overall record. Freeze made Ole Miss a high scoring, hard to beat team.

Look at it this way, Freeze whipped Saban head to head twice, he whipped Mullen multiple times, and lit up Kirby Smart both when he was Alabama's DC and his 5 win team beat Smart's 8 win Georgia team 45-14. That same 5 win team played vs Alabama with Pruitt and their #1 in the nation scoring defense and put 43 on them. Clemson scored 35 on Alabama in the title game. 12 other teams they played that year scored 16 or less points.

Freeze can coach, and he has done extremely well vs the three coaches we most need to beat. He just wasn't great at hiding cheating. Granted, Ole Miss was mired in massive cheating when he arrived, the cheating was in place from boosters and people above Freeze in the athletic department. They had to forfeit whole seasons from before Freeze even started.

Interesting guy. I enjoyed the pregame motivation video. He understands that soldiers in combat aren't fighting for their country. They aren't fighting for the flag, the Constitution, Mom or apple pie. When it came right down to it, and Charlie was in the wire...We fought for the guy next to us. We fought to give that guy a chance to get back to the world because we knew he was doing the same thing for us.
As to his marriage vows, and all that...I have to wonder if those "escort service" calls weren't for him, but were a recruiting tool for current, or prospective players. Just sayin'.
"Pay-to-play"...I don't know how it's done today. When I was a young up and coming high school recruit, my line coach (who had played for Bryant in the Namath-era)..wanted me to go to Tuscaloosa. He used to tell me about the "envelopes of CASH" slipped under your door in the players dorm on game day.
I'm SURE nothing like that happens now at any reputable school in the 21st century. It doesn't does it..??? PLEASE don't shatter my image of the pure, clean Student Athlete.

In today’s game, you need a high power offense that can score points to keep up with the opposing team.

Freeze is a great offensive mind that brings leadership and energy to his players.

I don’t care about the hookers, paying recruits, etc.... he’s a winner. Plain & simple.

The sooner Fulmer fires Pruitt, the better chance we get him to Knoxville.
Hell i'll buy him a personal blunt roller & a office full of strippers if it means he will beat bama, fla, & ga.

Like I have said, he isn’t coming here. Nor is he going to SC or Auburn.

Freeze currently 'won't entertain' S.C. opening

"I won't even entertain things of that nature at this point," Freeze told ESPN College GameDay's Gene Wojciechowski in an interview that aired Saturday. "I'm at total peace with staying here, as long as they'll have me."

I don't have a dog in this fight but those are famous last words and then the agent calls.

When you are engulfed in your faith and have the ability to do what you are passionate about (college football), then why would you leave?

Liberty has shown a commitment to growing their program into a DI competitor. They have the funding to support that ambition. And, by the grace of God, Freeze has been given a second chance.

Those are some powerful force and encourages loyalty.

Check out the Brandon Marcello interview with him. Doesn’t sound like a hard “no” in my opinion.

Brandon: “...Your name is being bandied about in private circles and also publicly for that job and who knows what other jobs will come open on the Power 5 level. Would there be any interest on your part of making that jump after two years at Liberty?”

Hugh: “...I've been honest with them and our administration here in saying that it would take something really, really special for me to even consider leaving here — and I mean that. I have no idea if anybody even would want to talk to me, and that's OK...”

Conversely, those who wear their faith on their sleeve are always the folks I trust the least.

Lane Kiffin said the exact same thing like 48 hours before taking the Ole Miss job, you gullible goon
And Saban said he was not leaving the Dolphins as well...means nothing.

Also, sure he is not considering anything “at this point”. It is the middle of the season. Is at the end of the season is a whole different scenario.
