I admit, the thought crossed my mind to turn off the TV last night when we went down 14 late in the fourth quarter. Losing hurts. Luckily, I watched until the sweet end.

I also admit that I was picking up my things to leave the 1998 Arkansas game with a couple of minutes left, but my son would not let me.

Just wondering if anyone will admit to turning off the game before the miraculous comeback. I am sure some did.

Win or lose, I watch and support until the end.
Sometimes I cry, but I watch.

I managed to stay awake for it. I normally get frustrated, pour an enormous drink, and fall asleep before the end.

My brother in law missed it. I text him after the game because he has two young kids. He never did respond. He said he saw my text and ran to turn the TV on and was in complete shock. Didn't find out until 6 this morning. (CT)

Meaning that the game ended at almost 11. So for 7 hours he thought we lost.

I was still in my seat in the stadium listening to Cock fans tell me good bye and laughing. I got to watch them cry and leave. I was the one laughing. It's great to be a TENNESSEE VOL!!

Ok. I admit it. I turned it off but kept up with it on the ESPN app. When I saw them pull within one I turned it back on but I'm too superstitious so I turned it off so that I didn't jinx them. LOL.

I would've done the same. If something is working, don't mess with it.

I was so hammered that it actually didn't hit me like it would have had I been sober. I watched it...but I wasn't sure if I were seeing it clearly lol.

admit....stopped watching and said a few choice words when it was -14 w/ 4 ish minutes to go....my son, an Alabama student called me back in to see the last score and OT....sad, but true...just haven't seen anything lately to think they'd score 14 in less than 4 minute of a ball game....glad I was wrong!

I did turn to watch the end of the Ole Miss/Auburn game. Then Treadwell got hurt, and I turned it back and could see that UT was making some noise. Stayed right there with my mouth open and even watched Booger and gang to see the highlights.

I always watch the big games til the end. I'm usually watching to see if anyone gets hurt in big leads or big deficits. If we are blowing out a team like utc, I'll turn it to see another good game on. But no, I watched this baby all the way till the end! I recall sitting in the living room of my parents house watching the Notre Dame game comeback. I was recording the game on vhs and almost turned it off. I'm so glad I did not, I watched it several times back in the day. Now I don't even own a vcr.lol

I watched until overtime. I then watched from the back porch through the doors. My wife gave me a thumbs up and I knew we were good. The last time I had a moment like last nigh was when Wilhoit lined up for the game-winner against FL. I have waited a long time for a game like this! So proud of our team and all our fans who stayed till the very end! Wish I could have been there!!! GO VOLS!!!!!!!!

I almost fell asleep at the start of the 4th quarter.... got up and stood for a bit and got back into it.

Funny about the 98 game, I was walking out at the same time you did, I could not stand to see the clock tick down to zero and lose so I eased out.. got into the tunnel and heard the Roar..... ran back to my seat.....

Go Vols!:clapping:

actually I was on the road home from Jackson ms. I live in ms and we were listening to the ole miss game being my wife is a rebel fan. we got home with about 5 min left in game and I cut it on for her to watch. when the big play happened at the end and they went to commercial I flipped over to see the score in the sc ten game . I thought behind 35 -21 well hell another blown opportunity so I went back to ole miss game. got quite the shock bout an hour later when I saw the final on facebook. and that's my story and im sticking to it
