You guys want something to look at? Go to the Lady Vols website and check out Monica's stats. They are probably the most absurd and ridiculous things you will ever see in sports. The numbers are staggering to anyone that fully understands baseball/softball stats.

I just looked. It is all ridiculous, her ERA over three years is 0.82. One year her ERA was 0.52. Most closers in MLB usually don't have that good of an ERA and they usually only pitch for one or two innings a game. Astounding!!

16 No Hitters
4 Perfect Games
85 Games with over 10 Strikeouts for the game
Longest Winning Streak is 17 games
She even hit a home run once

The most amazing stats:

162 Ks in 65 innings (2.5 an inning)
8 hits allowed (alll singles)
only 33 balls put into play
OF has only fielded 9 fly balls all year

basically find one good pitcher and throw her in (nearly) every inning of every game! I don't know why their arms don't fall off--tho I realize the underarm throwing motion in not as strenuous as overhand motion. Still, the numbers are absurd. I think Abbott had something like 50 starts last year.

Most of the power comes from the legs in the pushoff. There is still a lot of important stretching and whatnot that goes into avoiding injury.
