Tim Jordan Hilights vs WVU

Jordan had a great game and I'm glad he's getting the recognition but he didn't actually have "12 broken tackles" like PFF claims.

Tim Jordan stepped up and played like a man among boys. That toughness, agility, and speed looked special out there.
He looked every bit the part of a 1000+ yards a season running back. We have nothing to worry about in the backfield this season!
If you didn't see that replay of our Left OG #58 Jahmir Johnson pull to block on Jordan's touchdown play, it's tough and definitely
worth the watch.

Jordan was definitely the highlight of the game for us. I hope he and Chandler can stay healthy and lead our offense this year. We need players to step up and so far #9 has answered the call.

Tim Jordan reminds me a lot of Charlie Garner:cool:

I'll have to rewatch some Garner clips, but my memory was that Garner was much shiftier... I don't remember Garner lowering his shoulder pads and knocking DBs 5 years off the ball.

I was thinking more of a healthy Montario Hardesty with his blend of power and strong one-cut.

Tony Thompson i think ran like Tim Jordan also. Tim Jordan's high school films looked like Charlie Garner 1993

Only one that was "spittin' fire" Saturday. I hope it rubs off on more than just Trey.

He had 3 on one run lol

No he didn't, rewatch the tape and slow it down. He may have had 4 tops, maybe somewhere along the line the definition of a broken tackle changed. Apparently when a defender dives at your feet and whiffs that is a broken tackle. LOL

With my untrained eye Jordan seems to have the ability to still be moving forward even when he’s going left and right. Some backs almost seem to stall for a second when moving laterally but the great ones appear to be going forward and lateral at the same time. Not for sure that can be taught either. Very impressed with Jordan.

is it just me, or does he seem leg skinny? not a bad thing, I'm just wish there was someone bigger who will run over you. whatever works, if Jordan has it, let's roll.
