To play for Western Kentucky head coach and former Tennessee offensive coordinator Tyson Helton. ***Edit: he won’t be playing football, according to the updated article.

Former Tennessee running back Tim Jordan last week agreed to a plea deal on a reduced weapons charge stemming from his May arrest.

Jordan, who was arrested on gun and marijuana charges after a traffic stop in Florida, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon, court records filed Friday show. He will serve 12 months probation, community service and pay fines.

The plea deal grants Jordan the ability to "attend school at Western Kentucky University" and "travel for purposes of football games," according to court documents. Jordan must provide his probation officer with a travel itinerary.

“You see this gap opening up. Do you hit it aggressively or break it outside?”
“Coach? We made this movie.”
“You’re right...welcome to Bowling Green!”

Hopefully he'll use this slap on the wrist as an opportunity to do better in the future. Unfortunately it probably isn't that harsh of a punishment for him to really turn things around, since he avoided jail and a loss of football.

Edit*- glad for him that he is now losing football at a big school for 2020. That will help him in the future.

Good luck to you, Tim

Somehow no tales of misconduct before this. Not a stretch that getting arrested and dismissed from a football program might resemble a life lesson to him.

Good call. Thanks. Somehow I managed to mangle that.

I guess everyone else was just leaving me hanging out to dry.
You had me convinced that he’d legally changed his name. Power of leadership thing at work.

Mike Wilson reporting that WKU saying he isn't playing for them. My opinion is that his offense fits one strike and you're out. Weed is one things...weed and a gun is another.
