I’ll believe this when I see it! I bet there is zero percent chance this happens!

Banks can have the Kennesaw job. Looks like Golesh hooked Jerry Mack up with the USF job, not that he isn’t qualified.
No kidding? If Mack goes down there and does well, he’s gonna punch his ticket to the bigs also. He’s done a great job a KSU.

This time of year is interesting - the new coach at Florida just hired the Kentucky OC…my Kentucky friends are delighted…

Maybe before the Vandy game there was a chance. I bet he will have a harder time getting a call through to the Memphis AD than Pavia had running through our defense now.

Good for him if he gets the job. He has been named for several jobs lately though that could be an agent floating a name for a raise. I don’t always love how our defenses look and especially the recency bias definitely works against him. However, he is the best we have had in a long time.

He may be inclined to pursure just about any offer if he has any idea what has been said on this forum. We will take a step back if he leaves.
Just some FACTS to highlight.
Tennessee team defense rankings:
2021 90th
2022 37th
2023 22nd
2024 7th
2025 93rd
I'll take that trend with an anomolous bad year. I'm sure there are dozens of other coaches who could do better. (sarcasm)

Nick Saban had 12 coordinator changes while at Bama. Every job opening should be viewed a an opportunity to go out and get the best available for high level programs.
