Wow, it may not seem like it but that was a "recruiting" battle won.
Sure, he can improve his draft stock, but he would have been a late mid round guy in my uneducated opinion. But he has the skillset and body frame for the NFL. So he must have been made to understand what a successful next year could mean for his pockets.
