I picked it up last night and love it. The club tuning is cool, the graphics are sweet, and the Hank Haney challenges at the end of each round are really cool. It makes it so that practice will help you out in your next round. Anybody else get it? Thoughts?

Played it last night and thought it was pretty good. They still havent fixed on approaches where for some reason the longest club you can use is a pitching wedge. Thats been a problem for like 5 years plus now.

I've been playing it. I have 2 or 3 more pros to beat before I get to Tiger. Enjoying it so far.

The Hank stuff seemed ok, but after doing it once or twice, I started skipping it everytime. I would imagine these would be more useful in the PGA events rather than the Tiger Challenges.

I like the dynamic stats. Much quicker. I was a 9.5 in putting within a few hours. Took forever in the old games to build up your player.

Wonder if you'll be able to buy like last yr where it will max your player out?..thats what I did. BTW I think me and smokey were about the only ones on here playin so I doubt I get it this yr..may gamefly it.

I was thinking about that and I don't think you'll be able to (and it wasn't on XBL when I checked the other night). Reason is your stats go up and down after every round. It's not like you get to 110% and it stays there. Miss a few putts and your putting goes down a bit. Miss some fairways and your power will suffer next round. I sort of like this approach. However, I don't think the stats mean as much as they have in the past, so it's all a bit relative.

Anyone uploaded the photo game face? I'm having some serious trouble.

I got it yesterday and I've been playing it and love it. To the person with the question about approaches. Press "x" until and you can switch the length. May have to hit it a couple of time. I don't know what the term is but I know if you hit "x" it switches distance.

Has anyone played this on wii yet? I think it could make the game play a bit more interesting...

Is TPC @ Deere Run in it? It was rumored to be in 08 but wasn't. That'd be the only reason I'd get it. I live about 5 miles from that course and it is beautiful.

I have it for the Wii, it was a though choice between that and the PS3.

The graphics are blah, but man the game play is great. When you go to advanced swing mode, you can draw and fade the ball by turning the wrists, and you really have to swing well to hit it straight.

It's freakin great.

That sounds like a lot of fun.

good shooting. i've gotten to the point i can't stand wolf creek, i think it's all those rounds on tour pro which make it pretty bad, especially the putting.

I've had 09 for the Wii for a good long while and I wore out the 08 prior to upgrading. The putting on 09 is terrible and most people complain about that in other gaming forums. Its completely changed from the 08 edition which made it difficult to adjust. I'll say this though, I beat 09 a heck of a lot quicker than I did 08.

I like the fact that you can drive a par 5 on that course and you can hit a lot of the par 4s too. my least favorite course is TPC Boston. Hate those greens.
