That's definitely the way us 'experienced' gamers are used to playing golf games. I've played around with it a little and determined that as long as I need a normal full swing, I'm ok with the swing stick method. But anything that requires less than a full swing, like approach shots or putting, I use the 3 click swing.

i have 2007 and i really enjoy it but a lot of folks said that 08 wasnt as good. i dont want to be stuck behind in the times and not having anyone to play online with. should i go trade in 07?

I rented the game today, played for about 30 minutes and it just wasn't much fun. The last version I had was 2006 and even though it doesn't have all the features of 08, I had alot more fun playing

sitting on the shelf. not enough time with GTA and my unhealthy obsession with Gears of War. Played it about an hour and thought it was pretty good. Have not been online with it yet.
