I used to get ticks ALL the time when I was young...chiggers not so much...now scabies is another story!!

Ticks are terrible in Georgia. I even had my wife apply Frontline Plus between my shoulder blades, but it made me want to chase rabbits.

only have had a dozen chiggers, mainly from visiting coastal NC.....But have had untold hundreds of ticks from here in VA....remove from 6 to 12 every year for the last half century.......have always used tried and true method ...thumb / forefinger and pull, then burn or flush..works every time.

Not a big fan of stand-up, but Mitch Hedburg is the best ever. He died. OD I think. King of random thought. Maybe take you a second to "get" him.

Didn't know what a tick was until I moved to GA and got a tick from a bonfire party. Not to bring race into it, but a black man that lived in Baltimore for 3 years, I was freakin' out. My friends took a lighter and burnt it off. I called my mom and she made fun of me, told me the North had made me soft

I find Bryan Regan's observational humor alot more funny than Cook's, actually i just dont find Cook funny at all..

I LOVE BRIAN REGAN!! Funnier than anyone I've heard in a while..He's coming to Asheville at the end of this month and I'm dying to go!

Just remember... chiggers DO NOT burrow under your skin so there's no reason to try to smother them. They bite, leave a red itchy spot, and go. Ticks will bury their head. Try not to squeeze the body when you pull it off. Watch for a bulls eye patter if it develops.
