Someone had mentioned that tickets can be purchased off the Purdue website substantially less than ticketmaster. I looked, indeed they were correct. The only thing I didn't like, mobile download is instant through ticketmaster, if I remember correctly, Purdue site said download by the 27th. I'm sure it would be okay, but it made me nervous.

Yes Purdue has 100 level and club seats

I was trying to purchase from ticketmaster directly.

Are the Purdue site tickets in the Purdue section only?

Through Purdue... do you not get to pick seat location(section and row available) or is it a surprise when tickets arise?

So it appears that the Purdue sections are 135-141 in the lower and 235 - 242 in the Club level. That's on the Purdue sideline, and the Ticket outlets pretty much all have those sections greyed out indicating no tickets for sale in them.

I'm guessing an email will go out by early next week to confirm if you got tickets or not. It should also list your seat locations. I'd say the bit about sending them by mobile transfer by 12/27 is there to scare off the resellers from buying up the tickets on their site.

To be honest when I used to order Bowl tickets via our season tickets, I just checked off which price points I would accept and never knew what the ticket location was until they came in the mail. Surprisingly, I always got pretty decent tickets, even at the Fiesta Bowl vs. FSU. They sell the worst seats to the public for the most part. Lots of mid-tier bowl games end up with empty upper decks these days.
