Well I believe with this victory on the road today over the Gators our ticket is punched to the big dance. The rest of the games are for the East title and seeding in the tourney...win out and get a game in the tourney I believe we will end up a 6-7 seed.:dance2:

I agree. and dare I say it if we can pull off the 1 seed in the SEC Tourney we gonna do some damage but we need the bye to keep surging forward. as long as we finish with 1 less loss than KY we are getting a bye. because if we are tied with Florida we get the tie breaker and need to clip the GameCocks.

To get that 6/7 seed you are wanting we'll probably need at least 3 more wins.

I just hope the team can make a deep run in the conferance tourney. As down as the SEC is this year, they could catch fire and do some damage. (I hope)

Boy I hope you're right. That would be nice momentum going into the tourney. I think if we can grab the one seed in SEC tourney then we are set up very well. We'd be playing the 4/5 from the West/East, which would probably be a team we should beat and then perhaps the 2 seed (Auburn) from the West which would be a good rematch.

Wow that is very true, in other words if we can beat the Cocks and Bama we have a decent shot to actually make it to the Championship game!

(and I know not to get ahead of myself with this team, we could very well lay an egg Thurday against the Cocks.)

It goes by division! We would be 1 seed for the east on the opposite side of the bracket of the 1 seed of the west and the 2 seed of the East!

I think even if we win the next 5, our ceiling is a 4/5 seed.

I don't see why everyone is pessemestic about the SEC tournament. Yeah, we haven't done so well in it, but every year is a new year. I really don't think our past failures carry on every year. Plus, there is a change of venues. I really see this Tennessee team wearing people out with their depth and their length. I think they'll make it to Sunday.

semis for sure. but history matters in sports. until they win that tourny it will be in the back of their heads. look at fb. Kentucky should have beat us and couldnt get it done because they are UK.
