Likely headed there for my 40th bday. Haven't been to a Vols game since 2009 vs. Auburn. How long should I wait before getting tickets? Attending with my Gator-loving brother-in-law. Hoping to rub in a Vols Sec Championship birth. Thanks

Drive through Nashville with your windows rolled down. I'm sure they will throw some in your car because locals can't even sell their tickets to see that JV HS team.

IF it looks like we will win out, tickets will be hard to get. I did it a few years ago and went to the stadium without tickets. Lot more fingers up than tickets. Ended up going to the ticket office and buying them but they were top row.

Here's another bug - if Vandy can get by Mizz (which they probably can) they'll probably lose to OM but be playing us for a 6th win to be bowl eligible. If that's the case then Vandy fans will keep their tickets making it even harder to get them.

Check both UT and Vandy ticket office for tix.

Thanks to all! Great input GreveHaller regarding Vandy bowl eligibility. I was up there this weekend and local sports radio is already "dreaming" how they could possibly beat a banged up Vols team.

Definitely add me to the list that believes its better to head down there with tickets rather than thinking the street will be flooded with tickets, especially since they're available pretty easily right now. Just grab some, head to Nashville and enjoy the day rather than scrambling for tickets.

Only thing I would disagree with is that Vandy fans won't hold on to their seats...they'll just up their prices. Although I'd guess they only have about 10-15k regular ticket holders anyhow.

That's what I thought 2 years ago...They were scalping tickets for about $200 each.

Buy your ticket today.
