I had a blood work up which revealed I have hypothyroidism. It means you thyroid underproduces. Does anyone have this condition and what do I get to look forward to. I will be taking Armour thyroid.

Finevol, the meds we have for hypothyroid work well and you would be surprised at the amount of people with hypothyroidism. It is the hyperthyroid condition that actually causes more problems. In fact to treat the hyperthyroid patient we actually make the in a "hypothyroid" state and treat the accordingly. To put it lightly, Finvol, you should be fine.

I found out I had it a few years back in Africa...after passing out during an Army PT session.

I'm doing much, much better now thanks to the medication.
