i don't care who we beat or didn't beat either. That debate is worthless. Either you keep playing or you go home and we lost our last 2 with poor effort, coaching and playing.

not so fast my friend. If that were the case, every mid-major in the country would be there. Remember Cheng inside puttin all their misses back in and cleaning up on the other end. Without him, they arent even in that game against Duke. They did get to the rim anytime they wanted to though. Looked like chit from deep...

Exacty. As we know Gregg Marshall's team quit on him two years ago when they were snubbed by the tourney.

Anyone remember that UK football game where the players thought they were too good to play in a lower level bowl? Was that any indication of the kind of leadership and coaching? Hmmm.

If by "got to keep bringing him up" you mean, making a valid point about a statement that we have lacked quality point guards since CJ Watson (who pearl didn't recruit of course), then yes, I will keep bringing it up.

Bruce pearl is the level to be judged by at tennessee for basketball, I'm sorry you don't like that. Martin, so far, is not as good as pearl in almost any way. If you can't get over the fact people will talk about the school's best basketball coach in reference to the current one then you might want to go somewhere else, because that's how you judge sports, in comparison to each other.

I will say it once more. Had we had a decent point guard when we played Oden in the tourney, we would have at least two elite eight trips now, if not more. That same weakness is what will either make or break Martin also, because we have consistent post players, wing scorers, roleplayers, and defensive stoppers. The PG is the only inconsistent peace to the puzzle.
