Can someone tell us uninformed folk when and where today's scrimmage will be held? And where is the best place to get in to one of these? I've been dying to go since practice started!! Thanks!

Are you sure? Every time I've been (4 times) the gate's been open. Also, I talked to a trainer yesterday and he said every practice is open.

I don't know where you're getting your info from as far as practice goes, but the gate was wide open at 3 o'clock, and there were 100+ viewers there today. I was graciously invited in and handed a roster before I sat down.

Various people have put out differing information. Hubbs said yesterday had to be on a list. just repeating.

I had to provide my name to get in this Saturday or they told me I wouldn't get in. Of course, I'm in Nashville and not there everyday so no way for me to know exactly what is happening.. I sure would hate to drive over and be told I couldn't watch though..

I'll tell you who was most impressive...COACH GRAN.

They did quite a bit of work on special teams, and that guy is all business. I'm really excited about our special teams next year.

I heard him say multiple times, "GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR BUTT!" I could tell he was thinking, "Damn, these guys know NOTHING about how to play special teams!" Guess we can thank Fulmer for that, since, you know, special teams were never all that important to him.

Cunningham looked good, getting great distance and height, but Gran was not pleased with the coverage.

Thanks Krab, how did the offense look?

Anybody have any word on who Nuke tried to go after during practice? Heard he had to be restrained by a couple players.

That's good news since the special teams has the same place to go as the offense, and that's up! Thanks for the update.

I think it was either Marsalous Johnson or CJ Flemming. I could be wrong on that. But it wasn't a big deal, just some pushing and shoving after a play.

Is Fleming still around? I've heard numerous times that he was already gone.

Good deal. One of my friends called to say he heard it on the sports animal. Figured those clowns blow it out of proportion...

Highlights of today's practice are now online at utsports.com. Defense dominated today from what Kiffin said. Stephens threw a couple of INT's. It would be nice to read a report from someone that was out there today.

Not too good. It was a day for the defense.

At one point I was watching the 3rd team practice with Coach O doing his "Associate Head Coach" duties. He was calling the plays and acting like a head coach with the 3rd team while Kiffin was with the 1st and 2nd teams. Lamaison did not look good at all. Every pass he threw was deflected, it seemed. He got sacked quite a few times also.

I'm planning on going to practice again tomorrow night, and this time my 2 year-old daughter won't be with me, so I will be able to pay closer attention. (It's hard to stay focused on the field when you're afraid your toddler might fall off the bleachers, or run out onto the field to catch the "ball-ball"). I will give a much better detailed report for tomorrow night's practice late on Friday night or Saturday morning.

Appreciate it Koach!

I saw 38 and 31 playing corner shortly before the pushing, so that's why I thought it was one of those two. 38 is listed as CJ Flemming on UTsports, so I assume he is still on the team.

Like Koach said, the defense definitely won today. Crompton looked better than Stephens, but that isn't saying much because Stephens threw like 3 INTs, two of which were returned for TDs. The running backs looked good, IMO. Bryce and Hardesty both had some nice runs.

Koach, I think I saw you today with your cute little girl. You look like someone I know, but I wasn't sure. What's your name, if you don't mind me asking?
