I am really interested to see whats going to happen on the o-line and defensive backfield.

Those stats are pretty humbling, outside of Poole's and Bray's. Either UT has a great defense or the offense has a lot of work to do.

I think it's a mix of both. The defense will have to carry this team.

This. I'd like to think our D is gonna be pretty good ... but maybe our pass protection is just that shakey right now. :ermm:

with no proven DTs, losing arguably our best LB, and, besides JJ, an inexperienced secondary this is gonna make for a long season. hopefully everyone on both sides of the ball improves tremendously throughout the summer and into the fall.

Let's you know how optimistic I am about this season.

Did Poole break one long run or have several solid gainers? I wouldn't expect the offense to do well in the first scrimmage, inexperienced line, new system, etc. Key is going to be, does the offense show improvement.

Maybe Stephens only had 9 attempts because he will be the starter and the coaches wanted to get a look at his backup? who knows...
I'll be slapping hands and screaming during the Vol walk come Sep 4th and went ahead and stub hubbed my tickets; five for the game in GG row 15. I can't wait!!!
