Im pretty sure he and Peyton had some deals together

He gave PM a nice lot in one of his developements so that he could use his name to market the properties.
Thorton has also written a million $ check so that he could run through the T with the team.
The term "booster" does not BEGIN to describe his attachment to te school. "Not that there is anything wrong with that".

UT needs more Thorntons.

Wonder if he owns those convenience markets with the same name.

I'm not sure of Phil's business dealing, but I do know he is at least partners of the ownership of Texas Roadhouse in Maryville. I know it is a publically traded stock and I'm not sure of what exactly he owns. I have no idea about the one he does his call in show from.

The $1 million thing is a fact. Thunder owns a few developments in Chattanooga and yes, gave Peyton a plot on "Thunder Farms" early in his career. For awhile, Peyton's fiance lived in Thunder's "fieldhouse" there, which is nicer than most homes.

Ever wonder why the hall the athletes study in and are tutored is called the "Thornton Center"?

Hate to say it guys, but if I were a multi-multi-millionaire, you could replace Thornton with Larkin.
