This is the hottest young team in the NBA with the next true MEGA Star...Kevin Durant is the real deal, MVP of the league within the next 5 years. Russ Westbrook and James Harden are breaking out. The time to get on board and get THUNDER STRUCK is Now!

I can't envision any scenario in the next 5 years where Durant will be more valuable than LeBron or Carmelo.

I am not saying he is the next Lebron or Kobe...he is old school George Gervin. The kids game speaks for itself: at 21...the leader on the 2nd youngest team in the NBA, OBTW on a 9 game winning streak...his current streak of 28 straight games with 25+ point games is second all time (Jordan holds the record at 40)...he averages 29.8 points a game, 8 rebounds and 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block while shooting 48%...his inside out game is lights out...

SI.com and NBA.com currently have him third in their MVP ballots, behind James and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant. ESPN.com’s award watch has Durant fourth, behind James, Bryant, and Nowitzki

Here is a nice little link to a 5 Feb article
Thunder?s Durant moves into MVP race - NBA- nbcsports.msnbc.com
All I am saying the more this team wins the more this guys name will be kicked around...and if he wins it in six years...well I will be just as happy cause he is all class and not one TAT on him...well that I can see...LMAO

Doesn't mean he can't win the MVP.

And how 'bout a guy with the username 'bad karma' starting a thread touting Durant and OKC coinciding with the end of Durant's scoring streak... Just sayin'... :)

Been extremely impressed at how they have won/competed with such a young roster. They are going to be very good if they can keep all that young talent together.
