Sorry. But arguing that it's OK to be an ass to the police is just real bad advice. If you get pulled over for any reason, the best advice is to stay calm and cooperate. Let them do their job and you will be on your way in a bit. Unless you have a warrant out for you or something.

Absolutely, of course there are some cops that are a-holes and on a power trip, but hopefully most are just doing their job. Usually, if you show some respect, you are afforded that same respect, at least that is my experience.
