Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

Police in riot gear line up at border to greet migrant caravan as US vows: 'We stand ready'

PIEDRAS NEGRAS, Mexico -- Tensions began to rise before dawn as some 2,000 migrants being housed in a shelter in this border city woke up to a massive show of force gathering outside.

Just beyond a chain-linked fence topped with barbed wire, hundreds of Mexican federal, state and local law enforcement officers – clad in riot gear and armed with automatic weapons – stood vigilantly.

Military police soldiers marched in formation in the street behind them.

“Why are they there? We are not criminals,” shouted one migrant inside the fenced-in area.

Migrants are housed inside a warehouse, provided with food, blankets and healthcare but have not been allowed to come and go at will. Mexican officials said the tough stance was needed to ensure their safety.

Dozens of pro-Trump supporters form 'human wall' along US border with Mexico after the president's rallying call

Dozens of supporters of President Donald Trump took part in an anti-immigration protest in New Mexico this weekend, forming a 'human wall' along the southern border.

Demonstrators, many wearing 'Make America Great Again' hats, held hands while chanting 'build a wall' at the border between Sunland Park, New Mexico, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua state, Mexico.

Their protest took place just days after President Trump tweeted that the US 'will build a Human Wall if necessary', as the federal government shutdown continues over the disagreement of funding his border wall.

9TH CIRCUIT SIDES WITH TRUMP ON ENVIRONMENTAL WAIVERS FOR BORDER WALL

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled for the Trump administration Monday in a case challenging its use of waivers to bypass environmental regulations in constructing parts of the border wall.

The state of California and several environmental groups sued President Donald Trump and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in September 2017 to stop construction of a border wall prototype and ongoing repairs to 14 miles of an existing barrier in San Diego. (RELATED: DHS Sued For Not Assessing The Environmental Cost Of Mass Immigration)

The IIRIRA grants the secretary of the DHS “the authority to waive all legal requirements” as is “‘necessary to ensure expeditious construction’ of those barriers and roads,” according to the 9th Circuit.

Police have arrested the ex-boyfriend of the 24-year-old woman whose murdered body was found stuffed in a suitcase on the side of a quiet Connecticut road, with her hands and feet bound.

Cops arrested Javier de Silva, of Queens, on Tuesday, a week after the grisly murder of 24-year-old Valerie Reyes.
On Tuesday Greenwich Police Capt. Robert Berry released a statement saying a suspect 'believed to be involved' in her death has been arrested.

The suspect was later identified as de Silva, who Berry said also fraudulently used Reyes' ATM card.

Ocasio-Cortez goes to the WHITE HOUSE to insist migrants with 'temporary' protected status become 'permanent' residents of the U.S.– including Hondurans declared refugees after 1998 hurricane

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took her immigration reform plea directly to the White House on Tuesday afternoon, joining a group of migrants asking the U.S. government to grant them amnesty.

The migrants fled their home countries after disasters on Temporary Protected Status (TPS) orders that allowed them to relocate to the United States.

A lawsuit filed on their behalf this week includes 15,0000 migrants affected by a 2015 earthquake in Nepal and 86,000 Hondurans who were displaced by a 1998 hurricane.

They want U.S. lawmakers to make them 'permanent' residents as part of an immigration overhaul.

Eight separated migrant families Sue Trump administration for $3million EACH, accusing immigration officers of mocking and traumatizing their children

Eight immigrant families demanded millions of dollars in damages Monday from the Trump administration for separating them, including a Guatemalan woman who alleged an officer said her five-year-old son would be taken and then taunted, 'Happy Mother's Day.'
In claims filed with the U.S. government Monday, the parents accused immigration officers of taking their children away without giving them information and sometimes mocking them or denying them a chance to say goodbye.
The claims allege that many children remain traumatized even after being reunited with their parents, including a seven-year-old girl who won't sleep without her mother and a six-year-old boy who is reluctant to eat.
The Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for comment.

They never should have come here to begin with. Their entitlement mentality is fully liberal. They leave their countries and then demand the US does whatever they want. Ridiculous.

Beto O'Rourke says he 'absolutely' supports Destroying existing Walls on southern border

Former Texas Democratic Rep. Beto O'Rourke said Thursday that he would "absolutely" support tearing down existing barriers along the southern border with Mexico, in a full-throated embrace of open-borders rhetoric that has left conservatives wondering where other potential 2020 Democratic White House hopefuls stand on the issue.

O'Rourke's comments came as the House and Senate passed a compromise spending billthat would partially fund President Trump's proposed border wall, to the tune of $1.4 billion. Trump, who had been pressing for billions more, has vowed to declare a national state of emergency to fund the remainder of the project.

Amid the congressional debate, Texas GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw wrote on Twitter earlier Thursday that he wanted O'Rourke to answer a simple question: "If you could snap your fingers and make El Paso’s border wall disappear, would you?" He cited Department of Homeland Security (DHS) figures suggesting that illegal border crossings dropped sharply in El Paso following the construction of a wall there.

MSNBC host Chris Hayes posed a version of that question to O'Rourke on-air: "Would you, if you could, would you take the wall down here -- knock it down?"

"Yes, absolutely," answered O'Rourke, who is widely thought to be a potential candidate in 2020 but has not formally announced his intention to run. "I'd take the wall down."
