It's really weird. We seem to be able to throw out good enough pitchers to win the midweek games or keep us in those games. The weekend games we have a good Friday night starter and not much else. Would be huge is someone can step up and be a good #2 starter on the weekend.

Owenby and Bettercourt seemed to have been more consistent. Quillen seems hit or miss as does Charpie although Charpie pitched well today.

Charpie did do well today and Martin has looked good at times. If Godley, Williams and Saberhagen could be consistent I'd feel better.

I think Martin is only good in situations where we are up big or down big. Other than that, he can probably only go through a lineup once.

:lolabove: I believe these guys are still transitioning to know how to pitch and working on the mental aspects of pitching. With some more experience and more coaching maybe they'll come around. I believe if we can get some better pitching to go with the bats things could definitely improve in the W-L column.
GO VOLS!
