Did ND know our offense too well? If you look at those back to back sacks on Clausen, ND brought a guy from outside on the side that the play was going away from. In both cases, the running back protector went away from the sack - leaving no protection. It doesn't look like the RB missed the assignment but rather that our play was designed to go a certain way and ND took full advantage. Critical plays that put us in 2nd and 15 and then 3rd and 23. Did we just run the same set up in opposite ways and did they see that and flip the blitz package? Clausen had no chance on either of these plays.
