1. Teague needs to replaced by Evans or whoever - burnt up twice on multiple critical plays 2 weeks in a row.
2. We need a bigger, more physical free safety. No offense to P. Dub. and I hope that he is ok after that concussion looking tackle on J Jord., but he is so much better suited to corner.
3. Z. Rogers cannot catch a cold. He should be relegated to 3rd team at best.
4. Simms got let down by D Rogers and Neil on sorry efforts on his ints. Looked like both were scared of going up and competing for the ball.
5. D front 8 played at a very high level excepting the 4th quarter. I have no complaints for the Dline.
6. Bullard is the real deal. I hope that I am right in assuming that he has 2 more years left after this one.

People are saying this over and over, but I just didn't see it that way. Both were bad throws IMO . . . especially the 2nd one.

Looked like Waggner was lined up at corner later in the game. If randolph can step up at Safety, Waggner at corner is a big upgrade. Hes a mre natural fit there.

#4 SIMMS threw two balls up for grabs, when 2nd receivers were wide open. He can not see the field. He makes poor choices in the passing game. We need to run the ball because he will throw lots of pics if we pass it much. Should have had at least 3 pics today.

You think 21 is scared to go after the ball? Kinda hard to take you seriously if that's the case.

I dont know where you got this at.He threw the ball up for grabs on one and under threw Rogers.these WR has no confidence in Simms and he cant even see the field.

I had a really good angle on the first pick. Da'rick was a good step and a half ahead of Mathieu. If thrown to the outside shoulder it would have been a score. Simms underthrew Da'Rick so badly that he could not stop his momentum and get back to the ball before Mathieu.

Realistically, do we have a chance next week? I ask because I am living in Tuscaloosa right now, and it would be so much nicer if our team came in and won :dance2:

My thoughts..... Ben Martin still sucks and is taking an opportunity from someone to develop (Williams). Jacques Smith and Cory Miller have shown no improvement and I'm very worried Joseph can't coach dbs cause there are SUPPOSED to be some guys that can play back there. Our 2 star local talent who shouldnt have been offered looks really good. Get him and Neal to hold onto the ball, a healty Hunter and Bray with Rivera, Darick and some of the young recievers (current and verbal commits) and we should score some points next year. Frustrating as heck but give it time.

The pick thrown to Darick was a stupid decision, he was well covered, and Neal had the whole corner open but Simms instead threw it over the middle.

Simms picks a reciever to throw to before the snap and will not look anywhere else, Simms just isnt a quality sec quarterback. It's not his fault, he just isn't.

If we are going to get our run game to be better with Bray, we have to get Bray under the center more often. Our line showed they are talented and can be good, I think we should keep the same formations we use with Simms when Bray gets back because our run game looked 10x better.

I remember reading they dont like using Bray under center that much, but I think this game showed that us being in shotgun so often has at least an effect on our run game.

It was not good coverage. Da'Rick blew Mathieu off the line as soon as the ball was snapped. It would have been six if Bray was in.

Maybe because Simms is about 1/4 the QB that Bray is. Simms can't throw the ball with confidence so we have to pack it in and run the ball.

Which is fine with me, because when Bray comes back in, some of those plays are TDs. The improving running game is good.

I'm disappointed in DaRick, I really thought he was going to be better than Justin Hunter. On the Int he let the DB run him off his route, he just slowed and let the DB make the play and didn't make any attempt to brake it up. Sims needs all of the help he can get. thank Goodness Zach ran him down, maybe he should be playing on the other side of the ball, seeing as how he sucks at receiver.

Mathieu wasnt even covering Rogers on that play.It was claiborne.and Rogers was never open on that play.

I agree,Rogers did not put in a good effort on that play.If that had been Hunter,he would have went up after that ball and atleast broke up the int.I dont even know why they went deep on that play after they got away with a deep pass the play before.why press your luck with your backup qb in there.

This. Teague needs to play slot on offense. Both sets of coaching staffs have essentially ruined his college career. Waggner is a really good CB as is Lanier. Randolph at FS unless they find someone better. All of the pre-season Teague at CB supporters are strangely quiet now. He has no recovery speed to play CB.

You didn't watch the same plays we did then. I clearly saw Neal half a-- down the field on the interception. It was plain as day. He was jogging and Rogers did the same thing. I for one thought simms played a solid game. Too many drops. I will say that he missed he tight end on the first pick he threw. Rivera was wide open down the middle. However, I agree with Teague.. He is horrible and we need to bench him now. Or, let's try him out at reciever and see if he can give us a little more depth. Can anybody tell me what the hell is going on with M.Milton. That kid is a beast of reciever and looks like a NFL reciever in person. I just cannot understand.

Wow. All I can say it wow. If that is what you consider a 'solid' game from a QB then I would hate to see what you label as terrible. Simms is just awful. The physical talent is lacking. And to compound that issue his decision making is horrific.
