How come it has taken so long for the offense to catch up with the defense in all our games this year?

In the case of yesterday, it is simply impossible to fathom how Georgia defended the last play so poorly. In those situations even someone with a TERRIBLE football IQ knows that you do not allow the receivers to be in front of you. How UGA doesn't just have four guys at the goal line jumping to block any pass thrown behind them is just insane. The Georgia faithful have got to be calling for someone's head on that one !

Sort of the same with us on their long pass. Should have been in better position. It's football.

would it be fair to say that neither caught up with the other until the second half...this thing about us starting early hasn't come to fruition, just yet...jus' sayin'...:crazy:

If you look though Malone and Croom are behind them in the endzone. I think that drew the guys that were supposed to be at the goal line backward.

We have to figure out the opponents defensive tendancies before we can determine what is effective OR the team Captains give great motivating speeches in the locker room at half time and this motivates the team to play better.

MOST defensive minded coaches DO NOT make great head coaches. There are exceptions like Saban but there are also examples like Muschamp, Strong or Smart who are defensive minded and are horrible coaches.

Part of being overconfident is lack of mental preparation. I think our team is so mentally confident in their abilities that they dont elevate their physical play until they have been punched in the mouth a few times.

Ive noticed that when we get down, we play with way more physicality, esp our OL and DL.

We need someone to get this team fired up from the beginning. They would be scary good if so.
