I know 80% of you want a change, but please consider this (and I say please so we can all think, not that any of you have any real power)....

Rich Rodriguez was dominant the past few seasons at WVU, coming within a Pitt loss from appearing in last season's NC game. He takes over a respectable (yes respectable...how many straight winning seasons?) Michigan program, and now look at Michigan. They are like Notre Dame of the past few seasons. Really, Michigan is losing to TOLEDO??!!

Tennessee has players, has athletes, including the signing recently of the nation's #1 Running Back.

The common ingredient in all of SEC Title game appearances has been a quality, SEASONED QB (Casey, Erik)...Is it really Phil's fault J Crompton got in the games and shriveled under the pressure. Or that Stephens can't move the offense?

Let's be real. We don't have Peerless Price, Carl Pickens, or Robert Meachem. We don't have Travis Henry, Stephens, or John Henderson. We have a mediocre team. Changing coaching staffs means we lose our current recruits (#1 RB!) and destabilize our program for several years.

People, do we really want to be as bad as ND last year? As bad as Michigan this year? Can you imagine LOSING TO NORTHERN ILLINOIS? Losing to teams like Wyoming (who I know is dreadful)????

Give Phil another year. The QB's will be seasoned, a bad year behind them, and hopefully we can compete next season for the SEC east. I DO NOT want to see us being 2-9 next season and losing to everyone except non-division 1 teams. Tennessee is losing this year, but my goodness. We are losing to FLORIDA, ALABAMA, GEORGIA AND AUBURN. All 4 teams have been or are current top 10 teams. Crap happens. It's a bad season.

WE LOST TO LAST SEASON'S NATIONAL CHAMPS BY A MEASLEY TOUCHDOWN...SHOULD HAVE WON THE DAD GUM GAME!

Phil and co. surely didn't forget how to coach.

Everyone calm down....Embrace the face we cannot CANNOT be national champs every year. We will be ok, but we need stability.

Bringing in a Lane Kiffin or Muschamp ensures NOTHING...what ties to the SE does Kiffin have? Come on people. Get out of your drunken haze and relax until next season. If the same thing happens again, then dismiss Fulmer.

So you base Rodriguez's tenure @ Michigan on 1/2 season???

Consider that Saban lost to one of the direction Louisiana schools last year. Would you say that hiring him was a mistake?

Michigan was supposed to suck anyway. You switch from Michigan's ultra-conservative offense to the spread...of course they are going to have an ugly transition period.

We don't have players like the ones you mentioned because the head caoch has lost his edge in recruiting, not to mention the guys that do come in never develop into better than they were when they came in players.

First off Michigan lost all of their O-Lineman and skill players. That's why they sucked.

Second, if we have the players, then its the coaches fault their not developing dat talent. We don't have the #1 RB its the #1 APB RB. Not overall #1. Get your facts straight.

Third, Phil never forgot how to coach, he never was a good coach. It was his coordinators. The game has passed him by.

Fourth, Everyone knows we won't win a NC title, every year, but we would like an SEC title every once in a while

Fifth, Bringin in Lane Kiffin or Will Muschamp will energize the program and bring it out of mediocrity.

Sixth, Fulmer has had all the chances he can get. Its time to move on

Who the hell cares about a national title at this point? All we want is one freaking SEC title in 10 years.

What has CPF's stability accomplished in the past 10 seasons?

We DO NOT have the #1 RB, he is the #1 all-purpose back not overall #1. And he hasn't signed he verballed.

UT only beat NIU by four, that's about like losing to them.

You said we have a mediocre team, who's fault is that?

We dont have the #1 running back recruited. We have the #1 APB back. The best running back joining the college ranks has already committed to Miami. But dont let facts get in the way.

I saw a stat on ESPN last night which was from 93-00, Fulmer had around a 80% winning percentage. Since then, 66%....

I am willing to lose next year to get the right coach for this team. (Read carefully here) Coach Phillip Fulmer is not the guy period end of story.
You DO NOT let a man who drug the program down try to rebuild it, he has proven incapable of doing so the last few years. Goodbye Fulmer, and take your good ole boys with ya.

and also....didn't Bama ALSO hire a new OC this year?
I think they said on TV during the game that the tide had a new OC......and they are the #2 team in the country.....with a 2nd year head coach...1st year OC....and there are people out there saying "Tennessee has a new OC...give the team time to learn his plays."

RIIIIGHT.

Check your rankings. That back isn't the #1 RB; he's the top 'all purpose' back.

If you check the RB rankings, you have to go way down to find him.

Right, If we get rid of CPF, we are DOOOOOMED forever. We cannot possible bring in a coach like Saban, Meyers, or Richt who can turn this around quickly. We will have year after year of losing seasons and go through 5 or 6 coaches.

Chicken Little, Chicken Little! The sky is falling Chicken Little.

Sends the TE to the showers

How can you call anyone anything with the crap you are spewing out of your keyboard?
Here is a novel idea, realize that the end is near for CPF, neither the Fulmerites nor you can stop it. He has done it to himself.
Most of us are willing to lose next year in order to find the right coach for this team. Will the search and transistion be easy? no it wont, but nothing worthwhile ever is. Have a good night.
