With a defense as weak as our is going to be this year, I don't want a high risk guy that is going to turn the ball over. Our defense is going to get torched this season. The fewer opportunities our opponent gets on offense, the better in my opinion. Bailey completes a higher percentage of his passes. I think we'll score plenty of points with a QB that completes that high a percentage of his passes. I don't think we need to have a high risk/high reward guy.Exactly! Maurer is a high risk, but high reward guy. Which seems like what you would want if you have a suspect defense and are trying to outscore everyone. Bailey is more of a game manager type that Pruitt wanted.
