Wrong. Nico was in concussion protocol because he exhibited symptoms. Not being 100% and still playing isn’t how concussion protocol works.

In other words, he’s 100% or he wouldn’t be playing. Thornton may not be 100%. But he’s healthy enough to play and play well.

That's what I'm thinking. It's a all or nothing deal with concussions.

Arkansas game was lost by stupid brain dead penalties. Yes the offense could have performed better but the special teams and false starts were killers.

KY would have been a blow out but receivers failed to catch.

Several points have been left on board with terrible OL play.

The 2022 Alabama win with lesser talent was won because of a nearly perfect game and people playing over their head. If anyone including the players think just because Nico and Thornton play we have a great chance to win is on rat poison.

This game will be won if it is a team effort with very few and no stupid penalties. We must control line of scrimmage. Catchable balls must be thrown and caught and the D must live behind the line of scrimmage and allow no pass to be caught uncontested.

Yes I am excited that Nico and Thornton will play and believe it improves the teams chances but focusing on that takes our eyes off what will win or lose the game.

Brazzell is the X factor in this game tomorrow night and he has to score 2 td's and have a 100 yard plus receiving game for Tennessee to win.

Brazzell - - He came in a "world beater". Sooo welcome to the SEC/big time college game. To me he is just an average wide out. Now it may be he is a little slow picking up the system and what what is expected of him. But his catching has been maybe a little above average to me and his route running about the same. Lets hope his lights come on next year....

Would be great to see Brazell and Bru step it up tonight. Bru needs to prove himself if he is going to play on Sundays. He can block at a high level, but he is not getting loose in coverage.

This. It took Thornton half the season to get adjusted (plus he was playing out of position). His injury in the Missouri game was unfortunate. I still think he is underutilized this year. Not counting our first year with Heupel when everyone was new in the system, Bru is really the only guy who has come alive in his first year after transferring in, and he had two studs in Tillman and Hyatt that gave him some space.

I think this has all been mind tricks. They knew they didn't need Nico in the 2nd half and Gasspipe needed some snaps. We will know if Nico comes out running.

Yep. Although Thornton was starting to come along last year before his injury. He just wasn’t a slot.

Be nice if the light came on for Brazzell tonight and he had a breakout game.

But I tend to agree. We’ll see a better version of Brazzell and Mike Matthews next year.

I expect Brazzell to have a better season in 2025.
