Golden will prolly start but expect Thompson to get a lot of time next year. . The reason he decommitted from vandy is bc he wanted to play immediately

Perfect situation for Thompson to play behind Golden and when Golden disappears take his place for the rest of the game.

He looks very solid and can shoot the three with a nice form.He could turn out to be the best pg since C.J Watson

Good thing we have one of the best strength & conditioning coaches around. Give Nicodemus Christopher some time with this kid and he'll blow him up just like he did with Stokes. GBO!

This. Staff should be telling Thompson already what to be eating and a weight program...he desperately needs to add some weight and muscle. If he can come in early this summer and work with Nic they may be able to have him ready physically by the opener.

Having this guy come in and contribute from day 1 will be Cuonzo's number 1 priority for this offseason.

If he can split PG minutes with Trae and Maymon comes back healthy.

We have sweet 16 potential easy next year.

Nice. I love a point guard with a bit of length. I wonder how interested FSU was? I've not followed this kid at all TBH but how early did he verbal to Vandy?

Heres my question. He decommitted from Vandy because he didnt want to play behind Kedren Johnson, right? After seeing Vandy's roster this year, I sure would have thought they would have fought harder to keep him? And no, I dont know what they did or should have done. I just never read about Vandy making another run at him.

Then again Stallings is a D$@k.

I've said a few times I thought that was just an excuse to decommit.

From what I could find on espn he is the 51st point guard in the country.

Rivals has him a 3* but, not in the top 150.

He's right on the cusp...24/7 has him at 188 and Eric Bossi of rivals said they're gonna try to get him into the 150 in their next rankings, and that if it's up to him he'd already be in.
