This will hurt forever.

I believe we have a great coach. I'd like to see someone else do better with so many freshman.

I believe he will get it turned around.

Not only did they have an illegal shift but after the ball was snapped and fumbled...LSU players were taking off their helmets and slamming them before the play had ended...that is a definite unsportman foul

These coaches are idiots. That Play Action on 2nd and 3 was retarded. Changing personal on the last play was retarded. 4th and 14 with 3 men coming after the QB was retarded. I'm furious. These players played their hearts out and didn't make really any mistakes, but Dooley and his goons **** them over.

BAd thing is uab challenged it last week. So I believe we got lucky and the camera didn't show the angle. So now we haven't learned from it. So now everybody knows we don't have our s**t together. As bad as I feel I hate seeing our players cry after that performance. With each week I am beginning to think it is Dooley who can't coach an entire game. Not the players play. Just sucks.

to be fair, it should have never came down to that last second play. we had multiple opportunities to take control of that game but the lack of execution by the players did not allow for that.
It wasn't the players, it was the coaches

I've always said that the '01 UGA loss was the most painful loss in my memory simply for the way it ended. That game now has NOTHING on what happened this afternoon. LSU commits at least one penalty on the final play and it was simply overlooked as the refs handed a victory to the Tigers.

I joked around last week saying that if watching Denarius Moore be carried off the field after catching a game winning overtime TD pass against a sub .500 C-USA wasn't rock bottom then I didn't want to know what was. Well, I was right, this is so much worse it's unbelieveable. I'll say it one more time, if THIS isn't rock bottom, I sure as hell want no part of it when we get there.

i seriously can't remember a loss hurting this bad since the 2001 mishaps against lsu and georgia. the last one i remember really hurting for was against the tigers in '06 and this game puts that one to shame. i might as well be in shock right now..

Glad you can see into the future Miss Cleo.

Am I gonna get that shiny bike I want for Xmas?

Yea, keep your eyes closed. He just lost in a bad way to another buffoon in this league. It was just bad luck...keep thinking that.

The players played their hearts out. That last penalty (too many players on field) was just stupid as sh*t. Too bad the boys had to loose because of it.

LSU is a top 10 team and a team made up of 50% freshman took them to the wire.

I never said it was bad luck or that he was a great coach, but saying you know how his time here will be after 5 games is stupid.

Some of you guys are way too emotional. lol

I feel bad for the fans at the game too. You know those drunk lsu fans are starting fights over bs. I am just sick for the volnation. Dooley.....nice job. Why didn't you at least go crazy and have them review lsu players. HUH

I dont care how many UT games you have seen, this is the most painful loss in UT history. Im in shock. I cant even move. Seriously.

Are you serious???

What a bunch of babies there are on here... Guys played their asses off. Were there mistakes? Yes, all the mistakes a young team makes. Coaches can't get out there and play for them..

This message board is FAR more dissapointing than the loss to LSU...

OK flame away...

Yeah, that was the one where LSU actually fumbed and we recovered, as the replay clearly showed. But since he had been ruled "down", they kept the ball, and went down and scored the game winner.

Sometimes I think the stupid refs are just gonna make sure that we lose. I can't dispute we had too many guys, but there should have been offsetting penalties. And the pass interference call a few plays before that was ridiculous.

Don't worry, there will be plenty more losses to swallow while Dooley is coaching.

Are you serious? We go into death valley, with half of our traveling squad. First road game of the season playing a top 15 team with absolutely no experience and you're going to down dooley. yes it was a monumentally stupid move, whoever made it, but for us to even be close was a heck of an accomplishment. I think we are moving in a good direction, depending on our future recruiting.
