thats a good read Hat! Say speaking of the Boilermakers if Chism would have hit that shot how much would that improved our seeding? It seems most people are guessing we will be between 5-8 seed. Not includung the KY game and beyond I think that if Chism knocks that shot down that would be enough to put in 3-4 seed range provided a decent finish to season.

I don't think it would have made much difference, because the team that played Purdue isn't the team the Selection Committee is looking at now. The Committee does a pretty good job of factoring in personnel changes.

yeah thats ashame too. If Purdue falls off the map the rest of the way then sure penalize their seeding. However suppose they rally to an extent then keep them in their range.

If Purdue plays well from here in, they'll still get a 2 seed. If they don't, they deservedly fall. You can't seed them as if they have Hummel available if you know they won't.

If they dont crumble to me it seems their body of work should warrant the easiest path possible.
