The publicity alone will do wonders for the program. They're gonna be singing Heup and Co's praises every time one of these VFL's comes off the board, especially considering MOST of them were not really even thought of as draft materials prior to the 22 season.

Exactly my thought. Wish the players great outcomes in the draft, but the biggest winners will be Heupel and our recruiting. Teams wanted to see production on the field. Gave them that last year along with the most exciting offense in the country. Now we get to show them development and hopefully at least 2 first rounders along with several others. Gonna be a great night for the program I think.

The merger was a dark day for me as a lad. Loved the AFL just like I was crazy for the ABA and those cool balls. Yeah, I was diggin' Broadway Joe and the super cool Dr. J back in the day.
