So what’s the story behind this rendition of the logo?

Interlocking UT

A 1952 photo features Gen. Neyland wearing a rarely seen baseball-inspired interlocking UT. Neyland played baseball at Army, serving as an outstanding pitcher and first baseman from 1913-16. He owned a 35-5 record on the mound — an .875 winning percentage that still ranks second in Army career annals.

The logo is amazing. Anyone who is complaining about the logo that the General designed is just a captain whiny pants. This is the truth. If we kept it for several years I'd be totally cool with it.
That's all we have on this forum it seems like. Especially one in particular. 🤡

The best looking Smokey Gray we had was the original Adidas v UGA when Pig Howard got robbed on the touchdown/touchback. The helmets sucked w it, but had they had matching helmets, they would have been awesome. The little white outline Adidas used looked great IMO. Must wear in day game tho. They disappear at night games.
