Now they're starting to take shots at one another.

Vols Jr DL Malik Jackson: "We played really good today. We scored over 10 points. That was good."

Vols starting QB Matt Simms: "There's nothing much I can do about getting hit in the back."

Vols starting QB Matt Simms: "It wasn't like I dropped back and threw it to the other team."

Vols starting QB Matt Simms: "I didn't say anything to (Bray.) They were going to give him plenty of chances."

Let's make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Simms is pissed because he won't start another game barring a severe injury.

Jackson actually made a joke.

One was from a guy that felt like he shouldn't have lost his job, the other was completely right. We did something in the second half, it was nice to see.

Every game coming up is winnable. They know this.

Malik should have known what he was getting into before HE decided to transfer in...

Matt Simms sounds like a baby.

Vols ex-starting QB, Simms: Yeah....I'm considering my options, clipboard or headphones.

Simms needs to get the sand out of his vajayjay.

It is your fault you got hit in the back, son. It's called having a clock in your head. You don't have one or it is on a different time zone.

Bray threw a freshman interception to a DE dropping back in coverage on a slant route. Then he was golden. Compare to Simms with average play at best, no clock, and too many sacks/sack fumbles.

this team isnt falling apart, Matt is. Malik's comment was actually kinda funny and im sure he was just trying to keep his spirits up. Matt is done and thats why he's falling apart

Sour grapes from Simms won't win over the coaches. The team needs a leader to step up fast and pull everybody together. Reveiz, Jones and Moore need to rally around Bray and do that right away.

I don't think Simms played badly, but I think it's obvious that Bray should be the starter. Simms said he thought he was playing his best game of the season, and the stats back that up.

They've seen the way Dooley's airs the dirty laundry in the media, and following suit, he needs to get the house in order over the last half of the season

Reveiz is on offense?

Scored over 10 points and over 300 offensive yards.

I think Jackon's comments was more in support of Bray, in that the Offense actually produces points. That's the key difference here.

I got an answer for Simm's whiney butt, drop him to third string behind that kid who came up with DR. He should not be allowed to become a disruption.

What happened today is VERY harsh on Simms, IMHO. I think Bray won the starting job, but the coaches have been waiting for him to take the reins. Simms has been used as the human shock absorber, and just when he could lead the team to victories, he's going to get pulled.

It's really tough, and a young man who has been through the carousel, I think, deserves 24-hours to vent steam.
