We're a combined 2-7 against Georgia, Alabama, and Florida under this staff. Heupel shouldn't be fired, but if he doesn't make staffing changes after this year, I can't take him seriously.

We're ranked below all 3 in recruiting for next year, and Florida has been a smoldering pile of excrement for years now.

The defense here has stayed the same or gotten significantly worse in certain areas since day one. Banks and Martinez should be done.

The OC promotion was clearly unwarranted. The play calling is abysmal and the offense looks unrecognizable compared to last year.

Bottom line, all 3 of these teams figure out a way to get it done against us more than 75% of the time. So solve it. They sure as hell do, at least when it comes to playing us. Recruit better. Make changes to both the staff and the players on the field. Use the flipping transfer portal and PAY PLAYERS TO COME HERE. I don't see the big balling play makers on the roster next year, so if we don't hit the portal, we might be even worse overall. Josh had better wake up and get it together in the off season.

Now do Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt combined. Suddenly doesn't look so bad.

Had Milton not gotten hurt, we'd not have had the success we did in 2022.

Nico is going to be going into 2024 as green as possible, behind an inexperienced oline.

Heupel has set himself up for a make or break year in 2025.

Okay, but the games aren't even close. We've been blown off the field by Alabama 2/3 times, Georgia 3/3 times, and a horrendous Florida program 2/3 times. There's just no excuse to not get up for those games.

Two of those teams are the absolute best in the country and loaded. You're counting games where our roster was in the 60s. They field 5 stats and we sub in walk ons. The uf losses do hurt but calling for heads based on their records vs teams no one else is beating either seems pretty unreasonable

So being competitive in those games is asking too much?
I'm calling for staffing changes to be made, yes. Not Heupel. Coordinators. Position coaches. I don't see how anyone can say with a straight face those changes don't need to be made.

They’re the 2 best programs in the country. We’ve hung with Bama all 3 times despite the score looking lopsided in 21. If we had an offense that could actually score in the red zone we win this year. Florida is always inexplicable, but we’re potentially about to win 20 games combined in 2 years. Again I’ll say, go back to where we were in January 2021 and see the progress we’ve made. We beat Saban, Brian Kelly LSU West champion and Clemson in year 2. Those 3 goofballs before CJH couldn’t even sniff that.
