Tennessee's athletic department is investigating an altercation between
three of its athletes.

Football player Daniel Brooks and basketball players Jemere Hendrix and
Andre Patterson were involved in a physical confrontation, a source told the
News Sentinel. Hendrix and Patterson approached Brooks as he walked to class Monday morning.

I think Brooks and Hendrix should be gone.

If this was his first or second incident, maybe. He had been in trouble over and over again. I am pretty sure he is done.

Get rid of him. I don't care about the publicity - you just can't keep giving chances to someone that shows no signs of listening.

I don't know why Daniel Brooks has been allowed to hang around as long as he has.

Brooks is gone. Not because of the incident but because he broke curfew.

Hendrix is gone

Patterson is on indefinite suspension.

The incident all started because Baby Patterson wasn't able to attend a party Saturday night.

What a shame. Thats not what you expect out of a top overall prospect in the state. After his suspension, you'd think curfew would be the last thing he'd blow off.

yep your right. I think he is already on probation when this happened. Last time that happened it was james banks. he was gone quick.

Sad thing is, coming out of high school this was the no.2 rated LB prospect in the nation. I really expected big things from him. He has been a real disappointment

Overall #1 prospect out of the state 2003. His first game this season was saturday(Ole Miss) he didnt make it onto the field. But he seemed to think he was the exception, not the example.

Thats OK, our LB core is strong without him. He has made no impact for us at all. On another note I know he is out for the year but I am interested to see what McCoy does next year.
