games that are sitting there, waiting to be won, even when your team is not playing especially well. They make the play or two necessary to win. This is why Bellichick is a great coach--the guy wins close games. Bad staffs snatch defeats from the jaws of victory--lose games that should be won! The Vols had about 5--count 'em, 5--chances to get 25 yards and into position for a game-winning FG. Could not move the friggin' ball AT ALL. A good staff gets that 25 yards. Auburn got the 5/10 yards it needed at the end--even their offense suxed too. Nuff said.

I feel sorry for CBS--that was one sorry offensive display by both teams. REALLY BAD.

What staff? Is that what people are calling it. Looks like a bunch of assclowns to me.

I can't hang this one on Fulmer. Crompton is just out of his league right now. I knew we were in trouble after the last pre season scrimmage when he was 5 for 16 at one point...AGAINST OUR SECOND STRING DEFENSE!...However...Fulmer just don't have the kahunas to pull Crompton...he is too loyal to starters in my opinion. The SEC EAST looks bad today!

If you saw this coming in the preseason, why are we paying Fulmer 3 mil to not pull the QB? Our back ups may not be good....AT ALL...but really, what do we have to lose at this point?
