I don't recall having this many kids enrolled from a class already. This is huge for the learning curve. The entire class is in minus cp and borque who will be in July.

Not to spoil everyones party, but few of these players other than CP and McCullers are going to see much early field. That said the depth, especially for practice, will be a welcome change.

I think we are still one year away or maybe 2 depends on which ones Dooley can keep in school. If Bray, Hunter, and Rogers leave Dooley screwed.

I would expect to see McNeil, Croom, Latroy Lewis, and maybe even Bourque in that list. Someone else will likely surprise us as well just as Lewis has been so far. Also, its good news that we won't see too many freshman on the field alot this season.

OP never said that they would see early field time. He said it would be "huge for the learning curve".

Sounds spot on to me.

Oh, and McNeil will end up a starter before the season is done imo. People are still sleeping on Croom it seems, I think he ends up being our 4th best WR before seasons end.

you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment.

How? I didn't say they are coming in ready to be all Americans. Just saying its nice to get them over the hump during the summer vs during fall to where possibly a few of them can provide quality depth. The impact will really come their soph yr as they would have been in college program for a good bit of time. I don't see how that is setting up for failure. IMO cp, McCullers, pig, obrien, king and McNeil will be the guys that bring us some help as freshman the rest will be as sophomores

If all three of those leave, it should mean that we just had one hell of a season. Dooley would have much firmer footing in his position at that point. QB's behind Bray are looking solid. 2012 WR class should be outstanding. I don't see them leaving anyway, but we'll be ok if they do. That kind of season would make the recruiting around here go :loco:

I don't think half the people actually read your post. All they read was the title and hit reply.

I couldn't agree more with what you said.

I think Bray will be back if he gets good draft advice

No way Bray is back....only way is if we have a bad season and even then he is a top 5 QB

Plenty of guys come back when they are top five. Everything I have seen has him from 3-6 in the Qb rankings. He won't pass Barkley so its not a forgone conclusion that he will leave.

Can't ever predict what a college-aged kid will do. That's what makes the recruiting forum so fun to follow, especially close to signing day. He might find a lovely incoming freshman to UT this fall and "fall in love," and not want to leave her. Cat can do CRAZY things to a 20-year old, as most of us know/have experienced before.

Anything can happen at that age. Wouldn't ever say "No way" about these kids.

Unless his parents are well off (Barkley/Luck/Manning etc)
He is an idiot to come back. Do not pass up that $ should be our coaches advice!
