....on the outside. Been saying this ALL season long. He's not physically suited for that role. What the funk was Bajakian thinking? And people blame Worley and Dobbs for throwing picks or missing those throws downrange to him. Simply put, it's takes a low percentage play down to an extremely low percentage play.

And for all the shrill haters out there, I'm not hating on Pig. Just saying in those situations, Bajakian was asking him to go away from what he is good at.

Start about midway through the video (1:00min mark), and watch the bigger LB gobble up the passes when covering midgets the size of Pig Howard.

You're totally right. If there is a Lb covering our best wr deep, that's totally not the matchup we want.

Looked like a lot of underthrown balls. Also, a linebackers first read is the run, then pass drops. I didn't notice it but I bet none of those linebackers carried out a "fake" run read to make the drill realistic. Thats why 7 on 7 is not realistic. Its always beneficial to have an athlete going vertical against a linebacker. With that said, your athlete better have more speed than the lb. Some OLBs could play safety so you have to have that mismatch of speed vs. size. Pig was open on the deep ball against Iowa. It was a bad throw.

Your link is bad. I didn't see Pig Howard in any of those. Pig Howard who averaged 11.4 Yards per Catch and 6.4 Yards per Run.

Yet another reason why this op is clueless. You would think at some point he would learn. Obviously hoping too much on my end.

Midgets the size of Pig Howard can smoke a LB any day. Thats the most favorable matchup in football, a LB on a WR...especially a slot guy like pig. Congratulations. You just proved to all of VN you don't know jack about football.
