We handle business Saturday and beat Florida soundly. Pay attention to the line of scrimmage and AR.

That's got to be the worst D-Line I've seen at Florida in decades. That USF O-Line was blowing holes open left and right and that QB had all day to throw.

Did you see AR? He is a really bad passer his picks were Butt Ugly. If we can't beat them and beat them badly this season then we need to pack it in.

I took the CanTurkey game with a grain of salt. They are a really good team. USF is the opposie. They are a really bad team.

My poor battered Vol soul totally agrees with your analysis, but the fear that Florida miraculously fixes all of their issues in one week and plays their best game of the year against us is hard to banish 😬

I just don't see how they can go night a day different in a week and on the road. AR looks terrible. Hell beyond terrible. Their front 7 is complete doodoo and well have one of the most explosive offenses in CFB. We are at home and if AR played that bad at home can you imagine what he's gonna experience in a sold out Neyland. Hell he might throw 4 picks and I'm not joking.

It was really bad but I think the defense will get it corrected this week and AR is saying he will go back to using his legs a lot this week.

My confidence has nothing to do with Florida. We will get their A game.

My confidence in the Vols comes from the Vols. The Vols have improved each week and I expect we will see an even better Vol team this Saturday. Keep getting better Vols. It’s a long season. How great can they be?

You're not wrong. I even heard a guest on Josh and Swains show say something similar. Florida also pales in comparison to Tennessee at the offensive skill positions....including the most important skill position; QB.

That Florida front 7 got manhandled. I don't know how you correct that in a week. They look slow and soft. Hooker will have time to throw and our O-Line will open holes.

I couldn't agree more. They don't have the horses to keep up. If they had a great D then I could see them winning a 24-21 type of game but they don't.

Florida played to their tape against their last cup cake. I don’t expect that when they play us. I expect they will have some adjustments in store for us.

It won’t matter, we will still play our game and get the win.

After 2002, I'll be gunshy about Florida my whole life. Losing that game as a much better team on about 300 fumbled snaps is the summation of Tennessee vs Florida from 1995-2022 with a few rare exceptions. We find new ways to have game changing plays go against us in this game.

But we stand close to where we did in 2002. With a real chance to push Florida down the chain several notches for years to come. Each time we get that chance over the last 20 years, somehow they still beat us. Unfortunately for us, it's usually because we have a complete boob for a head coach. We now have a legitimate, cutting edge, offensive guru as a coach. I feel like maybe this is our time, that we have the Spurrier to their Fulmer, the Meyer to their Dooley.

I don't care how much better we truly are than Florida. For what ever reason Florida plays perfect against us they go into this Bama and GA like mode and become too much for us to handle.

Is that the one where our QB fumbled like three out of four snaps in a row in a downpour?

I know those are just highlights...but those DEs seemed totally unaware of the situation at times. And definitely are overly aggressive. That looked like a coaching issue, one i hope that doesnt get corrected during the course of this week. If it doesnt we should see some big plays on the edge.

Every time I get confidence that we can win, I see Matt Corral running for 195 yards. Our spy was not as talented as their quarterback.

I really would like nothing more than to see Tennessee do something to the tune of what they did to Tennessee in 2007. The 59-20 score does not begin to tell how bad the Vols were crushed that day. Hefney quit mid-way through the 3rd quarter. I want to see that happen to Florida. I want to see an utterly broken piece of **** team.

One thing that struck me is how soft the blocking was on the return of Richardson’s second INT. If 13 in white lays Richardson him out there it’s a pick six.

Edit: 13 or 8 in white. They barely just tag him with their hands. Weak sauce.

This is team has a different feel to them though. I think that they wouldn’t care to play against flaming demons with the devil as the Coach. I think this team almost compares to the 98 team.

Yes. Loaded team from 2001 came back, Florida hired Ron Zook, and somehow Casey Clausen couldn't handle a snap in Neyland that day, 2002 went on to be a massive disappointment. One of Fulmer's worst coaching jobs.
