This is why I hate our fans

Last week I read a lot of positive threads about how good UT would be and this week I see a lot more negative threads. I think most UT fans had too high expectations for this year and its hard for them to swallow.:ermm:

Being a cock fan why don't you give them some tips on swallowing!

Here's the truth, college football is all about passion (for the team, for the game, ect.) when you win big you're going to feel big, and when you lose you're gonna feel bad especially in a loss like this (though it could be worse we could have loss like Serena Williams).

To say you hate the fan base for showing a little passion after a big loss is ignorant, and if you don't like it you can leave but as for me I'm still gonna get excited when we win, and I gonna get down when we lose.

Now on the other side of the coin there are people on here that now that he has lost a game they are calling for CLK's head. This is also ignorant, I understand feeling bad about a loss, but you don't condemn the whole team and everyone on and around it for one loss. Give our coaches time they will get this wagon turned around, till then hold on or get off and make way.

Go Vols!

We should always expect more from our team than you do of the Gamecocks. We're contenders. You aren't.

Don't lump all of us into the same 'fan' mold. Point your finger at the Foolmerites for this program that is in destruction. We have a new man here trying to lead us out of the laughing stock land that we were allowed to transgress into.

I agree...... The vast majority here feel that 7 wins would be a good year for this team. You guys/gals taking (Kool-aid crowd) that to 10-11 wins and talking about JC for the Heisman just are over the top.

To the TC...go change your tampon.

It's a messageboard. Every major team has them, and on every one there are idiots posting as well as intelligent fans. Last week you saw the Kool-Aid drinkers come out of the woodworks, and this week you'll see the NegaVols come out of the woodworks. In case you can prove otherwise, I doubt many of them are the same people, at least not the same username. Of course I guess now we have a 3rd category....those that start posting how stupid/fickle we all are and how disappointed they are in us. Boo hoo.

Here is my opinion. I donate and buy 8 season tickets and was going to not renew until they brought in the new staff. The WKU game was a good win and got everyone excited. Now we fall back into Fulmer Ball. We are going to run up the middle and CLK dont care if they put all 85 scholarship players on the line. Everyone in the nation could have called that play. To me, that was one of the first times that showed me nothing will change. We still have one hop cromton no matter how bad he plays and we are still stuck with one running play, up the middle when we have spent the whole week talking about how weak we were on the O line and how we didnt have any depth. At least a sweep or do a nugun and roll him out. He has played some QB. I dont care what happens this year, I for one, will not donate any more money to UT or buy any more season tickets. If we were going to play the exact game plan with the exact players, why not keep Fulmer and save the 6 MILLION dollars? Ed showed at OM that recruiting without coaching gets a team no where. IMVHO, neither Nick could have done any worse than one hop John. Everyone can say anything they want but we need a coach that will change things up and is willing to adjust to game events. All I have seen is a bunch of talk from a Fulmer clone. The only win we get the rest of the year with JC at QB is MAYBE Ohio unless they stack the line.

I understand the frustration, but I think Kiffin is trying to show that he keeps his word. When he goes into a recruit's home, he can point to this and show that he means what he says. I suppose that's the calculation at this point. I will be interesting to see when Kiffin switches to Stephens.

+1 The only way Crompton is yanked is injury, he is also showcasing the need we have at QB to recruits.

i feel the same way. i've been saying 6-6 all along and reading the board the past week has been very hard trying to sift through the "WE'RE THE BEST EVER" talk that was everywhere.

we will not win another game with jc under center. i say everyone stay home and leave the stadium empty until jc is benched.

How about you sell your remaining tickets to someone who will actually go to the game and support the team no matter how good or bad the season turns out.

I tired to tell people it would be a close game but nope, no one would listen to me. 42-7, 52-3... Geesh.

P.S. Crompton is the worst QB Ive ever seen open 2 seasons as a starter for a big school.
