I was hoping for a 70 to 10 ass beating but I have never seen that from Tennessee so shouldn't be to mad

Impressed is a strong word. Two issues, the 2nd quarter slump and lack of big plays. That said, the defense did it's job, the o-line was really good all night, adjustments took place at half time, and we won by 32 points. I have low expectations for this season. The explosive offense was not impressive but the defense exceeded expectations. A bowl game is the goal for this year and we need to find 5 more wins to get there.

Aw, give it a rest. New coach, new scheme, a TON of players lost to the portal. Sometimes you guys are so busy being cute that it is sickening. Were they perfect? No. Did they win? Yes, bigly. This was the first game in a LONG TIME where I was enjoying the spanking meeted out, and not looking for another Georgia State game.

Bowling Green isn’t a good team by any stretch of the imagination. Georgia State was a decent team.

This is BS we had a TD called back or we would have put up over 40. Everybody was ready to burn down the program after the LOSS to Georgia State. Sure there are things to improve, but hey it could have been a loss.

You may want to skip the game next week. It's going to look a little different than this one.

BG was playing the deep ball all night. The run was the most efficient way to get the win. Exciting? No, but successful. Milton missed some throws. WRs dropped some catchable passes. Some of which would have extended drives. It's game 1 with a new everything. A win is a win. They're still learning. Heupel stated after the game that they have things to clean up. This staff is aware. CJH is happy with the win, but it was obvious that it was far from what he wants to see going forward. 1-0!
