Well, since Dobbs, (and Hook is the better passer; IMO)-- that Tennessee has had a Bonafide All SEC Qb going in to the Uga Game. Gives us hope for a good outcome.

He absolutely deserves to be All SEC, but somehow I anticipate we will be disappointed. Bryce Young is a media darling (who I personally feel is somewhat overhyped), Will Rogers puts up video game numbers every week in Mike Leach's offense, Stetson Bennett is the QB of the "No. 1 team in America," and the media seems to like trashing us.

He should 100% be on an All SEC team.

Hooker is sneaky great.

If I were Georgia I would be extremely nervous going into Saturdays game.

How nice would it be to ruin their NC hopes?

Unfortunately, even with a loss to us, I bet they still make the playoffs if they beat Bama in the SEC title game.

That said, with two losses...maybe we can continue our "1980" trash talk for a few more years.

This also has to be the best defense Georgia has possibly ever had too lol
We have to pray Hooker doesn't get beat up to where his mobility is ineffective. They'll make plays but will the defense actually show up? If not, it doesn't matter.
If the defense can get back to solid tackling and don't make a barely average Bennett look like a draft pick and cause at least a key turnover, the offense will have its chances. If they let them run wild like they did Kentucky it's going to be a bloodbath. The offense needs time. They may get a even score a few times early but when GA starts cranking down in the 2nd half points are going to be hard to come by.
It'll be very interesting how this plays out because even tho Bennett is mobile, he's probably the worst QB they've had to deal with in addition to playing against the best defense.

Matt Corral will be ahead of Rogers and Bennett (maybe Young as well but probably not).

UGA suffocates opponents more so than "making plays". Most programs have things they do well that they try to emphasize. UGA is the least "flashy" great team I think I've ever seen. They win most one on one match ups consistently. They don't make very many mistakes on either side of the ball. Just constant crushing pressure everywhere.

They're like quick sand. You struggle... they take advantage and suck you in further.

UT's chances IMO are pretty simple. They have to get some deep shots like they did vs UK. Hopefully tempo can force some mistakes like it did vs Bama. But really, it is probably more about the D than the O. UT has to go pressure. Be aggressive. Be exotic. Take big risks... and don't get too worried if you give up big plays. What I don't think they can do is bend don't break like they did vs UK. UGA is a much better version of what UK does on O.

Corral was the one that I knew I was forgetting. You are absolutely correct!

I think Hooker is every bit as good as Bryce Young, especially when you factor in the talent Bama is working with on the offensive line. But, we know how these things go.

Yep. Going to have to throw constant uppercuts and hope a few hit under the chin. We won't beat them playing "fundamental football" .

Had he been the starter for the entire season, he would be up there IMO. We wasted two games on Milton. I can only imagine what Hooker would have done against BGSU.

I'll admit my trepidation at the very real chance that they have to win it all.

No team has looked as good as them, and it sickens me. We need to win this weekend, and hope that Bama trips them up in the SEC title game. I'm personally numb to Alabama winning another title, and I think they are susceptible to a loss in the playoffs this year. Georgia seems to be the class of college football.

We shall see, but I hope you're right.

Wow yeah. Ut would have absolutely beaten Pitt, and the BG score-----70- whatever. And possibly fla. Missed open passes----

There is no realistic hope of a win. Anything is possible, but it would be the upset of the season if it happened based on just about every metric (both measurable and subjective).

Did you happen to catch our Defense last Saturday night? Yes we won but man was it ooogly on D.
If the o-line plays like crap, then there's no chance to win. You almost have to hope for a shootout against the better teams considering the depth issues on the defense. UGA will put up points, but if the offense is ineffective...then the game could be over early.

Matt Corral will also get plenty of votes. It's just a very good year for SEC quarterbacks.

Yeah, someone mentioned Corral a bit earlier, and I totally forgot him in my post. Corral and Young will be the All SEC selections, in my opinion. However, I feel like Hooker still has a lot in the tank. He is really impressing me.

A loss to us would not ruin UGA's season...They would still play Bama for the SEC championship and a berth in the football playoffs if they won...I don't think UGA needs to worry about UT just yet...
