2022 Alabama was cute. But nobody really took us seriously. And in many ways we confirmed we weren't a real national title contender when Georgia dominated us later that season. And nobody has really taken us seriously this year despite beating Alabama. Some of that has been our doing as we've been very inconsistent on offense.

All that changes tonight. We're gonna play our best game of the year and it'll be in Athens under the lights against a team everyone says will beat us cause they're backs are against the wall. Our ascent to the top of college football starts tonight. Should be fun. If you wanna make an easy buck take Tennessee on the moneyline.

AGREED!

THIS IS A TRUE TEST whether Josh Heupel can make Tennessee a CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM...of not!

Your first sentence just shows how dumb you are. You have no clue how program changing the 2022 Bama win was. But here you are doing your same old crap you usually do.
Listen, we all know how D4H is but you make it a priority to crash every thread he starts. It’s OK to have optimism.

I’m counting on you buddy. If you let me down this time, then ominous GIFs will be sent in your direction.

I kinda see it both ways. Yes, ‘22 Bama was program changing, but the first time you do it feels more like a flash in the pan rather than an upheaval. Now that we are even with Bama over the last 4 years under Heupel, it feels like we belong in that rivalry.

UGA is a different beast now because not only does a win tonight finally put Heupel in the W column over UGA/Smart, it propels us to our first CFP bid ever. The stakes tonight are significant for this program.

We are getting almost no respect for being top of the SEC right now. Would love to wake up college football by finally putting everything together. If we start doing that, we have a team that can beat any team in the country.

I remember back in the day when Heath Shuler beat the dogs at their house and propelled us to like 20 great years. I think no one expected us to win that game either and we had been through some rough years. Hoping for the best today.

I’ve thought about that this week. Great game. Huge win. It also propelled Shuler to stardom and started a run of great QBs in Knoxville.

Hopefully we get it together and play a complete game. That said we have looked like an average team against any sort of team with a pulse. Ever since the OU game our offense has just been meh. Then we lay an egg against Arkansas but that was evidently a freebie. At least that’s what a lot of people on here were saying. The defense has has played well for the most part. Hopefully they dominate today.

Well said even though you’ll be labeled a negavol. I keep hoping we’ll see that one game where everything clicks and the team plays with an edge. Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if they have that in them this year.
