For me, it's probably the most painful. I'm not as old as some of the other guys, but whatever.

For me it is either the SEC Championship against LSU, the 2006 game against LSU or the 2006 game against UF. This one tops those though. We should have won. It is right up the with the Gaffney "catch."

Since we missed a field goal to win the orange bowl game against Oklahoma .... Karl Kremsier was the kicker(spelling unsure) I believe it was 1967 or 1968

It's not so bad. The loss sucks something awful, but it shows we're not far off. ........got some more dead weight to shuttle off.

It definitely ranks up there. I just hate to see any game come down to a kicker. Leave the game in the hands of the athletes.

Very reminiscent of the 1990 game (I think that's right) where UT had a game-winning FG blocked and then UA kicked a game-winning FG moments later. That bit pretty hard.

The 2001 SEC championship game was pretty painful but I don't remember it being as dramatic.

That 93 bama game they showed today, where Palmer gets the 2 pt conversion at the end was the worst ever.

Both LSU SEC championship games were worse

but to be that close with a kick to win, is a close third

Most disappointing since the last loss. I never like to lose. This one hurts bad. Would probably not hurt so bad had we not recovered the fumble, scored a TD, recovered onside kick, moved down field, had a chance to win, and had the kick blocked. Would have been easier to swallow if bama had never turned it over.

Well we played them hard. We have to be the best 3-4 team in the NCAA. We are far from being No. 48 in the country. But on the same note. Alabama is no more No. 1 in the country than Western Kentucky is.

The 07 LSU SEC championship... 06 Florida game... Hobnail boot game... 01 SEC championship game...

Come to think of it... we've really had some heartbreakers haven't we?
