I'm glad we have a coach that will embrace Tennessee. This is not USC east or a NFL training program. THIS IS TENNESSEE football I really want kids to come here and give their all for Tennessee get a good Education and become good citizens. I did support the last staff drinking the kool aid like everyone else but I think the past couple of weeks we really found out what we had here and I am glad its gone. If I knew everything that was going on in the locker rooms I wouldn't supported the last staff. Time to stand behind Dooley let him have the time to past or fail.

I want ridiculously talented players to come here and be well coached so UT puts excellent teams on the field. If Dooley can't do that, he isn't the right man for this job. I hope he can do that.

That is what is expected of a TN team,,may take 5 years plus to get back to that level even if we can win 8 games a season.

I think Dooley is making progress. Slow progress, but it is progress.
It's hard to say right now. UT can survive a bad recruiting class. We're bringing in talent, just not as much as we had hoped, but if needs are addressed, it's not too bad. I'm interested to see how well coached UT looks next year. We should know soon how this hire will turn out. If we see that the team is well coached, we'll likely see better recruiting and we'll know what the future holds.

The key is to build momentum and create an atmosphere where great football players want to come. Negative complaints don't help.

I'll be interested to see how Dooley fills out the rest of the staff. DC hire will be the key hire, IMO.

And you guys LOVED it when he was there. You were bragging to anyone that would listen that you were going to be the USC of the east. hahahahahahaha, you got what u deserved in my book.

Just as your fan base did(promote the new coach) with the previous(before Saban) coaches at Alabama. It's only natural to back the HC of your team.

You guys exactly what you deserved for your history of cheating and violations. It's called 1997-2007. The difference is, it won't take UT 11 more years.

But we werent claiming that these coaches were the best thing since sliced bread. We didnt claim that they had the best staff without question in the country. We didnt blindly follow a moron. Of course a true fan will back his HC until they give them a reason not too, but most fan bases do not proclaim that NC winning coaches are "afraid" of a coach with a 5-12 record. You guys used to love to use to word afraid. I still cant figure that out...

Well then what does TN deserve for their history of cheating and violations. You have been on probation twice and before us, so I guess you could say that you have a better and longer history of cheating. hmmmm, interesting.

Yeah were all laughing about Mike Price right now, things become alot more comical after you win another NC.
I think UT's situation is bad with Kiffin leaving, but then I think about how Alabama recovers when their coach doesn't even make it to spring football, and I the future suddenly looks brighter.

The NCAA never signaled us out as an incredibly dirty program. Can't say the same thing as Alabama.

And I already know your selective memory has excluded that, so you'll ask me for a link. It's out there. Go find it.
