Be nice guys. What if we dumped Clawson brought in Norm Chow as OC and then Run Phil out of town and promoted Norm to HC. I know Norm has a little age on him, but at the College level there are not many he hasn't out coached. Could be a great recruiter, especially the Cal area.

I wish we could get Cut back as HC.

He would be a horrific recruiter. He also failed at Ole Miss when he didn't have a Manning to lean on. His success at Duke is way overblown. He hasn't beaten anyone halfway decent yet. One of his wins is over James Madison.

Trust me, as a Titans Season Ticket holder I know Chow would be a horrible choice as a head coach. He lacks personality and I can not picture him recruiting well.

All you ever do is talk smack about everyones opinion. What solution would you like to offer Mr. Peabody?

You posted a thought and I responded. If that's too much for you to handle I suggest you start your own message board and don't allow others to post.

I'd prefer someone Stanford didn't pass over. At least Phil can recruit. Chow would fail and leave the program in such bad shape it would take a decade to rebuild. Take a look at an NFL coordinator. Or in the college ranks try Butch Davis, Brent Venables, Bronco Mendenhall, Steve Sarkisian, Gary Patterson, Brian Kelly, or Will Muschamp. I'd give Lane Kiffin a call, too.

I agree.

Granted he doesn't have a ton of talent, he isn't doing much at UCLA right now. He was shutout against BYU, & they're 0-3 since playing Tennessee.

I think he'd be fine as an offensive coordinator. UCLA has a pretty decent coaching staff, but they are in an almost impossible situation.
