And their Mullets. Why do I capitalize Mullets you might ask?? Well in Florida most of them have their own names, addresses, and phone numbers so they do get mixed up with the other non-important Mullets.

I"m new to the forum so could someone give me the history for JORTS????? I've seen the picture of Obie Taylor and his friend, but how did you come up with the name???? You must remember I am blonde...

Jorts are jeans that have been cut with scissors to a length above the knees and have been passed as a fashion statement.

i was in the mall today and saw some JORTS... and i could not stop myself from laffin and for a second i looked like a fool standin alone and laffin... :eek:lol: gator players should start playin in jorts :rock:

Real jorts are hemmed at the bottom. Otherwise they are just cut off jeans, though I wouldn't wear those either as they may be mistaken for true Jorts.

the term's been around for a while. definitely not invented on this board. jorts are popular in alabama, texas and florida.

These are Jorts in the "Florida Panhandle Style", an inch or two longer than the "Bammer Thigh Cut" style

jorts, another name for daisy dukes. there is a tent at ben hill stadium to get your shorts cut so the frays will be longer. although, in gainesville, there is a rule: the frays on the jorts cannot be longer the your mullet.

I live in Texas...don't see alot of jorts here!....But Texas is a real big state!!!....GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rock:

I love this funny, sunny state! Never would have met my funny, sunny girl. Everytime we see the tennessee orange sunset over the ocean we sing rocky top and live the life by the sea. we love UT and love Florida! The best of both worlds in thiis funny, sunny place with funny people.​
