This is a problem for JH and the staff

You dont fix that in one season. That's an established culture.
Culture starts from the top. You can’t fix it by constantly looking like a slouch and slurring while chomping gum. The fix is quick… clean up his act The outcomes take time but impacts will be seen immediately.

Unfortunately, Josh won’t make personal changes needed.

This is what happens when you have a staff full of “players coaches” in college.
Yes. When was the last time you saw Josh Heupel chew a player out for missing an assignment or committing a bone-headed penalty? I can’t recall a single time. This team does not play disciplined, fundamentally sound football and that goes back to coaching and practice.

I’ve never seen it. And you are spot on. Same characteristics for 5 years.

Someone give him his Ozempic shots, put it on a schedule, and he needs to quit looking like a slob. Act like you're a professional. There's a lot that needs to be cleaned up besides just your appearance.

How many times just this year have we seen a false start kill a drive, a PI on 3rd and long gift the opponent, or an offsides give up a 1st down...yet I can't ever recall seeing a player come to the sideline and have a coach or team mate in has face.

Instead it's hand claps, pat on the backside, "snap and clear", and do better next time.

Never see Day doing that, or Saban doing that, or Dabo doing that kind of thing.

I've said it before this year...I had the opportunity to go see IU play this year and saw their best receiver, Surrat, drop a ball. Cignetti met him 5yds from the sideline and chewed on him until the sideline. IU was leading by 3 scores at the time. Next series, Surrat goes to the house.

What do you mean by “personal discipline problems”? Is that referring to his weight?
That’s obviously one of them. He gives off an aura of “I’m a slob.” The worst is that gum chomping during an interview.

If I didn’t know and was in a room with Josh, I’d never guess his was HC of a major program.

There are some great motivational coaches out ther. Heupel is not one. He needs to get someone on his staff who is and who will light up players asses (and his).
