You guys have fun. Time to go somewhere else and discuss basketball and the Vols. Good luck to the team and CM.
This forum has turned into a few posters harrassing others that simply want to talk about what has happened with the team.
Dealing with poking and prodding children instead of the game on and off the court is beyond old.

Look forward to lurking and seeing some good info from the others here that know and understand the various aspects I and others have discussed. Too bad a few can make it miserable for others.

The petition was a distraction along with fans complaining on the radio etc. The players had to fight through that. And most of the "fans" calling for CM's head are football fans.

I agree with that. I was very pro Pearl when it looked like they wouldn't make the NCAAT again. The reality in big time college sports is you produce to the level expected or you feel the heat. Right or wrong, Cuonzo walked into some high expectations and to some degree underperformed.

What absofrickinlutely AMAZES me is folks talk about what they know about how much it was all Martin's bad coaching, as if they have savvy, and in the next sentence say they supported bringing back Pearl when:

That lying embarassment of a carnival clown WAS NEVER EVER, NOPE, NADA, ZED, ZERO, NOT EVEN A SNOWBALLS CHANCE IN HE!! OF EVER coming back to coach here, and they STILL can't get their mind around it. Talk about a lack of understanding.

I know .. it's all those computer gamers what grew up gettin' extra 'lives' fer snatchin a gold coin outta the dragon's mouth.

Life aint like that.
